Hi there, I’m Leesa!

I’ve always wanted to start my own blog/website to share my thoughts and opinions. Finally, by the end of 2021 I started www.livingwithleesa.com.

I have my Ph.D. in a multidisciplinary field which encompasses data science, biotechnology and, clinical and food microbiology. My thesis dissertation was one unforgettable experience that I will always treasure. Given the necessary skills required to read quickly and access validity of scholarly articles, I grew to appreciate literature reviews and research.

With my acquired skill and experience, I wanted to apply it to everyday questions. Is this chemical really good for me? Do I need to wear sunscreen everyday? What are the long-term effects of using this product? Is this claim scientifically proven? These are a few questions that I will dive into.

This of course is a learning experience for me (and hopefully you too)! I want to provide my readers (in laymen terms) available scientific evidence of claims and findings to answer those everyday questions.

My website encompassed a wide variety of topics such as cooking, home improvements, skincare, Korean skincare sports, product reviews, food, health and wellness and many more (don’t forget to check in from time-to-time, I love doing giveaways!).

I hope you’re learning as much as I am – happy reading☺
